LD College of engineering traces its origin to the June 1947. It is one of the oldest
engineering institutes in Gujarat State (India) started with the objective of imparting
higher education, technological research and training in various fields of engineering.
L.D.College of Engineering is known for excellence in engineering education with
first choice for all students, society and industry where quality is the way of
life.
Since 1948, LD College of Engineering has inducted distinguished alumni spread across
the globe. The LDCE Alumni Association (LAA) is the organization for former students,
faculty and staff of the L. D. Engineering College. LAA US Chapter was established
in Spring 2009 to serve alumni residing in the parts of North America.
Today, the Association aims to connects LDCE alumni worldwide together through community
service projects, social & networking opportunities and leisure activities.
